Day 9: Back in London for a Muggle Tour, sightseeing and a show!

For our first day back in London, Bel and I went on a Muggle Tours! (£12, book ahead) Our guide brought us around London to several filming locations of the Harry Potter films, as well as locations that were JK's inspirations for some places, and shared interesting trivia on the way.
The entrance to the Leaky Cauldron

Our Gryffindor scarf toting guide...
...who was also a Daniel Radcliffe lookalike!

Westminster Station where Harry and Mr. Weasley passed to go to the Ministry of Magic
Inspirations for Knockturn Alley
And Diagon Alley. This particular street was a favorite of JK and lined with cute bookstores.
After the tour, Ange met up with us an we had lunch at Marylebone. We had some good Turkish food for lunch...

...and visited Daunt Books, a beautiful beautiful book store.

We spent the rest of the afternoon walking around Marylebone and even visited 221b Baker Street, the fictional address of Sherlock Holme's residence, which is also the site of the Sherlock Holmes Museum.

We ended the night at Leicester Square where we walked around a bit before catching our show. The Book of Mormon was hilarious and the songs so addicting. Two thumbs up!!
